Green Power Easy - a great find!

It's no secret that we're dependent on the power companies. Without that line in from the power grid to run our stove, our lights, and our fridge (as well as all of the other conveniences we're used to), we wouldn't be able to cook, to heat our homes, we'd live in the dark, and our food would spoil. For most of us that dependency is complete, and in recent times it's also becoming very expensive.

Here's the truth of the matter though: You don't have to depend on the power company at all. You can produce renewable, green, energy right from your home that will supply all of your power needs and more. Whether it's DIY solar or building wind power generators, taking advantage of renewable energy isn't something that's difficult at all, and you don't need experience to create your own energy. You don't even have to know what renewable energy is!

Right now, yes you may be solely dependent on the power grid, but you don't have to be. I've found a great product called Green Power Easy, and their guides will teach it all too you. You get step-by-step video instruction that includes easy-to-follow illustrations with every step.

By choosing to build you own alternative energy solution, you will be able to:

1. Build a 100 Watt solar panel for as little as $125 or less.
2. Build a wind turbine for as little as $100.
3. Convert part of your home to reduce you energy bills with a single solar panel or wind turbine, or convert your entire home and go completely off the grid.

Truth Be Told About Solar Panels and Nothing But The Truth!

By Bongani Makhathini

For starters, building solar panels is way better than digging for gold or extracting oil. That should be obvious and common sense to anyone at this point, right? Off-course! By the time your finish designing, building and even mounting it, a gold digging company would still be in the process of drawing up the licensing agreement for all parties involved to dig up the gold gem, let-alone start the process of extracting the oil for the oil refinery company. Solar panels have unmatched value and are fast becoming wide spread.

There are three primary ways to obtain natural energy or power, namely; Sun, Wind, Water/ Tidal. Lightning was once considered as another source but was discarded later because the energy from one lightning bolt could not behave itself and thus proved to be dangerous. Capturing the energy could even claim lives in the process. Solar panels on the other hand give clean, safe, user-friendly and cheap natural energy in abundance for - and this is the keyword - FREE!

Here are some kweek-kweek advantages and disadvantages with solar:

[1] It is renewable for the most part and never exhausted. (Oil is not renewable by-the-way and would be expensive to device a plan to have it renewed).

[2] Solar cells are totally silent. They can extract energy from the sun without alarm bells going off. They are so silent that you can even hear a pin drop.

[3] Solar energy is non-polluting. That's a favorite in everyone's book.

[4] Solar cells require very little maintenance and they have no moving parts that will need to be fixed making them last a long time.

[5] ROI (Return-On-Investment). No doubt about it.

Here are the disadvantages of solar energy. There aren't that many actually especially when you put this in comparison to the advantages.

[1] Solar cells/panels, etc. can be very expensive. This is only at the onset. There are decent guides though to helping one save and they are at a ridiculously low $49.

[2] Solar power cannot be created at night, Ouch! But the good news, the photovoltaic batteries will store some of the energy for the night.

[3] Cannot operate during cloudy and windy conditions when the sun is absent.

Now what? There is a great fix for that if you're willing, build a small wind turbine. It helps during windy conditions. There you have it, the advantages of solar energy create a much longer list than the disadvantages, and the disadvantages are things that can be improved as technology improves. Join the movement to cleaner energy and start ripping the rewards that come from these readily available resources.
